Three nice things for a birthday

A tiny, orange i-pod shuffle.	A fake Poika candle, with an illuminated flame that you blow out.	A strange IZ Sound Machine that plugs into your i-pod and raps along.

*In her defense, the mistake was genuine rather than sheer forgetfulness. Whilst shopping in M and S, she slipped on a banana skin (no, really) and grabbed hold of my dad. My dad has just had an operation on his shoulder, so he was in incredible pain as a result of saving my mum. In a terrible mood my dad rushed things, my mum knocked the numbered candles off the shelf and when putting them back chose the wrong ones. It seems like a rather elaborate story, but I believe her.

I bought Lucy a lovely pink shuffle…it is the sexiest of the small i-pods, and I keep nicking it to take into town. Should’ve got a blue one ;) Happy bday fella…that’s a real slapstick story from your mum…poor pops! Ouch.
