京のキー The Guardian of the Presents

The Guardian of the Presents

In an attempt to prevent Rhod prodding, shaking and asking questions about his presents (now I know why my mum and dad kept presents from under the tree until the evening of Christmas Eve), I have posted a sentry on the mountain of presents.

I’m with Rhod on this one and find the wait agonising. When I was about 6 I made a tiny hole in each of my presents on Christmas Eve to see what they were. I got a massive bollocking if I remember rightly.

Please can we have a Christmas Day update, as I’m dying to know what’s in the big blue box (!!) at the bottom?

Have a great Christmas guys – we’ll raise a glass to you tomorrow morning when we’ll be tearing open our pressies while the rest of the world is trying desperately to get to sleep… and those doomed-to-be-tardy Leach-McCormacks will still be doing their last minute shopping!

You’ll find that the big blue box is actually a chest of drawers draped in a spangly curtain to add to the Christmas feeling. Funnily enough I wondered how on Earth you knew Rhod had a big blue present, that he has been prodding all day (there is one hidden in there somewhere).

We will be thinking of you and the gorgeous Leo (we watched the video in awe at his greatness) as Rhod rips open his presents in record time. I am usually impatient, but my parents taught me well. Rhod, on the other hand is a little bugger when it comes to the surprises of Christmas Day.

All our best wishes to you three, well five really. Happy Christmas! 40 minutes to go…
